Thank you! This is not my design but I do have a problem with scars. Like I can't draw any kind of warrior without scars and if a warrior character is specifically described as having no scars it loses a ton of appeal to me because I feel it's an unrealistic trait.
i hear that. I don't want to use D&D as an example of realism, but if you think about how many hit points you lose and gain between level 1 and level 5, NOT having scars is just stupid. I think there's some leeway for characters who travel with healers who can mend wounds with magic, because that probably wouldn't leave a scar, but I agree with you. It's hard to believe a warrior who's not at least a little nicked up.
Yeah. Even with a healer in the party, it might have not been the case sometimes, and some wounds are just not big enough to warrant spending a spell to cure them. Chin scars or the like.
